The total revenue of the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) saw a major jump in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2025. The port announced turnover of over $47 million, an increase of almost 50% over the same period the previous year.
Profit has been rising steadily since a major dip in the first quarter of 2025, when just $28.6 million was reported.
The $47 million reported in Q4 was up by 12.5% over the Q3 figure of $42.3 million, itself up 15.5% from the $36.7 million reported in Q2. It is likely that the steady increase was at least partially due to Thailand’s unilateral closure of land borders in June of last year.
In a Q4 report to the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), PAS post-tax net profit was reported at $19 million, according to the Q4 2025 report of the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) submitted to the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX).
The report explained that the port generated total revenue of about $47.47 million (189.9 billion riel) in Q4, up 49.86% over the $31.67 million (126.71 billion riel) recorded in Q4 2024. In the same period in 2023, the port recorded approximately $25.02 million (100.07 billion riel) in revenue.
Major sources of revenue included stevedoring charges, LOLO charges, port charge for Vessel Services, storage (Warehouse and yard), transportation, passenger vessel, special economic zone and rental fees.
The port recorded net after tax profits of $19.33 million (77.34 billion riel) in Q4 2025, up 21.82% from the $15.87 million (63.48 billion riel) in the same period last year, but 17% higher than Q3 2025.
Lou Kimchhun, PAS chairman and CEO, noted that in Q4 2025 the port handled 388,436 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units), an increase of 116,983 TEUs or 43.10% over Q4 2024.
Cambodia takes pride in the port’s role as a key and independent international trade gateway, helping address challenges and promote national economic growth, he added.
Kimchhun explained that the port is gradually developing in line with its vision of transforming it into a regional port and logistics hub — not only serving Cambodia but also the Mekong region and beyond. This strategic vision of the Royal Government of Cambodia has also received support from the Government of Japan.
“PAS is committed to contributing to the government’s 2050 vision of becoming a high-income country by enhancing service quality, embracing the digital transformation and promoting connectivity, thereby becoming a key gateway for international trade and attracting investment to Cambodia,” he added.
